A Message to ‘We the People’ of OUR Purple States

You Control the Future of America — But Not How You May Think

It’s the middle they fear. The two Swamp Masters that is. I agree the Federal government has gotten too large in its power and also a bit too murky, but it’s not THE swamp. Because there are two Swamps run by Swamp Masters.
For the two Swamp Masters — the coalitions of extremely rich owners of the Democratic and Republican parties — the American People are just the collateral damage that comes from conducting Swamp Wars. We need to face reality that the Big Money donors own both Swamps, and when in power, each side feeds their own Swamp. Yet both Swamp Masters use the same financial advisers and bankers, attend the same conferences (many quite secretive or by invitation only) such as: the World Economic Forum, Bilderberg Conference, Sun Valley Conference, 1640 Society / Hamptons Wealth Summits, Le Cercle, among others.
Oddly, as much as they publicly rail against the other side, The Swamp Masters seem to get along fine at these conferences. But sure do like to pit Americans against OURselves.
Until We the People are willing to vote in new faces in Congress it simply is not going to change. The parties decide who WE get to vote for — not us. The parties decide where the federal dollars are spent — not us. The Swamp Masters tell us what we want and what we will be allowed to have.

My message to Purple America: You can change it.
The U.S. House Freedom Caucus formed the blueprint. Spurred by the Tea Party movement, the House Freedom Caucus was formed in January 2015 by 9 Representatives and quickly grew to 30–40 Members that year. They proved that a small, but powerful ‘minority’ caucus within the Republican party could exert more power as a voting block and were instrumental in the removal of John Boehner as Speaker of the House that year. In 2025 there are about 32 members. The caucus has demonstrated how a passionate, vocal, active and cohesive group can be a wedge and a hammer. I think everyone can agree they have been highly successful in the success of MAGA and the reshaping of the Republican party.

There is general disdain among the majority of Americans towards both parties. According to the PEW Research Institute report, Americans’ Dismal Views published September 23, 2023, only 4% of Americans feel the political system is working very or extremely well, while 63% feel very little to no confidence. A combined 53% have unfavorable views of both parties (28%) and do not feel well represented by either party (23%).
A whopping 85% say both parties are more focused on fighting each other than actually solving problems and 37% would prefer more parties to choose from.
The Independent Caucus: Currently this ‘caucus’ has two Senators, and a big ZERO in the House of Representatives. Zero???? Out of 435? Certainly not much of a caucus because both parties have hoodwinked the American voters to believe there is no other choice than one of them — be a Donkey or an Elephant. While that belief is accurate for a Presidential race — it’s simply not true for State races such as U.S. Senator, U.S. Representative or State Senators/Representatives.
The People do have the power — if we choose to wield it.
Independents running for office do not have a rallying cry or a flag to carry into battle, other than ‘I’m different so vote for me’. They need a strong message to the American People, that screams out a foundational change to our political system, especially to the younger age groups. A change that creates a new playing field that is a THREAT to both Swamp Masters - the ‘Real Swamps’
According to the N.Y. Times article ‘Tracking the House’s Most Competitive Races’ published on November 1, 2024, there are only 43 U.S. House districts that could go to either party. Out of 435 Members that’s just 10%. But that 10% could save America. Even 10–12 Independent Representatives could be enough to be a force of change.
In the approaching 2026 midterm election 8 of the 35 Senate seats up for election are considered ‘toss-up’ for either party. Imagine the shake up to the Senate if all 8 were Independents?
The time is ripe in America for Independent candidates — and not a third party. As Donald Trump learned in 2000 when he entered the Presidential race as the candidate of the Reform Party, he quit because he recognized that as a 3rd party candidate it was impossible to win.
The cause is re-establishing Citizen control of the House of Representatives by increasing its members to 1,305 and forcing Congress to be responsive to the People
Here are a few possible rallying cries:
No Taxation Without OUR Representation — Size Up the House!
One Union Rising — Size Up the House!
The Rent Is Too Damn High — Size Up the House!
Americans are the least Represented population on the planet and we need to dramatically increase OUR Representation by 3X to 1,305 House Members.
The basic personal action plan?
Run for an office as an Independent and/or support Independent Candidates.
Vote in the Primary election — change your party affiliation to be able to vote for a party’s least favorite candidate to try to make them the party’s General election candidate. (I don’t care what party you are for or against)
Vote for the Independent candidate in the General Election.
